Even though I fed SUR Restaurant & Lounge bartender Tom Sandoval with some Starlette Cake™ last night, I was not able to get one single world out of him of what is going to happen on the next episode of “Vanderpump Rules“ to air on Bravo on Monday. He is one of seven the cast members of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Lisa Vanderpump’s new TV show .
I insisted and told him that this cake, created by French restaurateur Michèle La Porta, was fat-free, sugar-free, flour-free, egg-free, and therefore had almost no calorie. Only answer Sandoval gave me: “Just watch the show.”
You, too, can now try the Starlette Cake™ at SUR Restaurant, in West Hollywood, as it has just been added onto the menu. A perfect sweet ending in Hollywood where everyone wants to stay slim, but still be able to enjoy delicious bites.

The only drops of Veuve Clicquot Champagne left last night at the Los Angeles-Berlin Sister City Committee Holiday party, held at Prince Frederic von Anhalt and Princess Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Bel-Air estate, were the ones I dropped in the snow after sabraging a bottle. Yes, you read correctly: the snow! Just watch the video, and you will see that it was real snow.

At Zsa Zsa Gabor and Prince Frederic von Anhalt’s 26th wedding anniversary party held at their Bel-Air estate last week, Veuve Clicquot Champagne was flowing (watch me sabraging a bottle), as well as Stella Artois beer to pair with potato latkes topped with crème fraîche and caviar, Hungarian goulash, spätzle, sausages, German wieners (I had mine with mustard), and the famous roast beef sandwiches with horseradish sauce from Lawry’s The Prime Rib.

We may be behind bars in this photo, but chef Nona Sivley and I are not in jail but at Kerry Simon’s LA Market at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live. Since I was at L.A. Live last night, I could not resist popping in to the kitchen to say hello to her.
Remember Nona? She was the winner of season 8 of “Hell’s Kitchen.” The funny thing is that when I was on the show judging a challenge on episode 8, I compared her to another chef. And she ended up winning the show!

After watching the French movie “Intouchables” a few weeks ago at COLCOA City of Lights City of Angels, the French Film Festival held in Los Angeles, what better way to finish the evening than by dining with my French friends at a French restaurant?
We all headed to Meet restaurant in Culver City and dined on the restaurant’s specialty, mussels, which are prepared there in twelve different ways.
